Benefits of Joining Chapter 4-24
As a member Chapter, 4-24 you have access to 85 other Chapters and their support networks across the United States and overseas. While each one is different, they all open their arms to Special Forces Association Members.
The Special Forces Association is a 501(c) 19 Veterans Service Organization here to support the Special Forces community. Historically, the Special Forces Association has provided manpower, monies, pamphlets, leaflets, and personal beliefs to educate both members and the public regarding the history, present contributions, and future development of the United States Army Special Forces “Green Berets”. The Special Forces Association has also played an instrumental part in the establishment of the Green Beret Foundation (GBF-501(c) 3) who supports post 9/11 Green Berets and the Special Forces Charitable Trust (SFTC-501(c) 3), who support the Green Berets and members of the Association.
Besides supporting the Association, Foundation and Trust through fundraising and raising awareness of the three, Chapter 4-24 exists to support the Special Forces community of Colorado. This includes the Soldiers, families, and veterans of 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), 5/19th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Special Operations Command North and members of other Groups or Chapters that may find themselves in Colorado.
Chapter 4-24 does this by a robust effort in membership drives, fundraising and then giving back to the community. Our Chapter provides monetary aid to Soldiers in need, executes the CSM Socha Education Assistance Grant, Memorial Day Remembrance, Heritage Ski-In, Chapter Picnics and Christmas Party, and Excellence awards to Reserve Officers Training Corps, Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps Cadets and Group Honor Graduates. Please check out our “Chapter 4-24 History” and “What we do” page for a detailed look of how we support the Special Forces community year round.
We look forward to seeing you at the next Chapter meeting or at one of our yearly events.
